Hartland Online Archery – Skills and Test Nights September 2020

The Online Course requires that students complete the knowledge portion of the course online and attend a skills and exam day which is about 7 hours. Students complete quizzes and exam as they do the online course and are provided with a voucher to attend the skills and exam day upon completion of the online exam. In the skills and exam session students must demonstrate to the instructor that they can safely handle a bow, participate in activities, bring in a survival kit with appropriate contents and pass a 50 question test with a grade of at least 70%.

Students must complete the online course and provide voucher number to register for the Skills and Exam Day. Students must also bring the voucher to the first class. Please visit bowhunter-ed.com/maine/ to complete the online portion of the course.

9/22/2020 and 9/24/2002 from 5:30pm-9pm; both nights are required.  Hands on Skills and written test will be given.  To complete the BOW Hunter Safety course and receive the certification for your license you must attend and completed assigned work for the BOW Hunter Safety class.  A Survival Kit is required.

A fifteen ($15.00) fee for the Sponsor will be collected the first night.  Please bring a pen, pencil, and a notebook for notes.

No Firearms/Archery are to be brought to any of the classes. All classes start at 5:30pm and run to 9pm.  Anyone under 16 y/o must have an Adult over 21 y/o with them.

Firearms Hunter Safety- Homestudy 

Maine Firearms Education course: Online. Courses vary in presentation and teaching style as well as student work requirements outside of the classroom. Courses are taught by trained, certified volunteer instructors according to statewide standards. Courses cover the following topics: proper firearms handling (rifle and shotgun), survival/first aid, hunter responsibility, map and compass and landowner relations.

Students must demonstrate to the instructor that they can safely handle a firearm, participate in activities, bring in a survival kit with appropriate contents and pass a 50 question test with a grade of at least 70%.

This Class is a Online class at Jackman School starting on August 23, 2019 from 5:30pm-9:30pm and Saturday, Morning 8:00am to Noon.  Students must register and bring the following; Voucher from online class required and Survival Kit.   Please bring Pens and pencils for class.
